Fall Sweep has begun! Fall is a great time to refocus ourselves to do worthwhile projects that benefit the community. Just a few hours of volunteering to cleanup a neighborhood or roadside can make a huge difference and it’s a fun opportunity to get outdoors with family and friends. Keep Temple Beautiful (KTB) is asking you to join the third annual Fall Sweep by hosting or partnering with us on a cleanup or beautification event. Fall Sweep runs from September 3 through November 15 which is America/Texas Recycles Day. The KTB Fall Sweep is a program to support the efforts of nonprofits, volunteers, corporations, schools, churches, scout groups and other community groups to organize fall cleanups and beautification projects. KTB will provide participants with free cleanup supplies, t-shirts, tips and tools to make your cleanup successful. Events can take place in any public area such as parks, schools, downtown, roadways, etc. Ways to get involved: 1) Contact Keep Temple Beautiful 2) Join a KTB Fall Sweep; Day of Caring, Friday, October 11th, Make A Difference Day, Saturday, October 26, TX Recycles Day, Friday, November 15 3) Organize your own KTB Fall Sweep 4) Let KTB plan a Fall Sweep for you!
