Parsons Commercial Roofing Gives Back

Parsons Commercial Roofing has been rooted in community since 1948. Headquartered in Lorena, TX, and serving the greater Central Texas community, they have been members of the Temple Chamber of Commerce since 2007.

Prior to the 2022 holidays, they learned of a community member in Downsville, who is facing a life-threatening health issue, stage 4 stomach cancer. Additionally, he had a deteriorating roof with a tarp covering it. Parsons decided to donate a free roof replacement.

Kelvin Toliver is a fixture in Downsville. He is the Fire Chief at the Downsville Volunteer Fire Department and worked for Midway ISD, La Vega ISD, and Robinson ISD as a custodian.

“We chose to help Kelvin because he helps people every day,” said a representative from Parsons Commercial Roofing. “Even while going through his treatments he has gone on fire calls. He volunteers for his community and asks nothing in return.”

Many of the staff at Parsons Commercial Roofing, including owner Stuart Parsons, are Robinson Rockets Alumni. “Rockets Never Quit!”
