Amy’s Attic Self Storage hosted Flavor Fest Food Truck Festival, its 6th annual spring festival, on Saturday, April 24th to help fund a scholarship for a Belton HS student to be administered through Belton Educational Enrichment Foundation (BEEF). This event featured more than 55 food and craft vendors, as well as face painting by Grace Phelps, pony rides from Melanie’s Minis, and kids’ activities by Amy’s Attic Self Storage. The bright sunshine and comfortable temperatures helped to bring out over a thousand people to enjoy the day by allowing attendees to indulge in some of the best area food trucks and unique shopping opportunities at this outside event in the spacious market area at the Amy’s Attic Self Storage Belton location on TX Highway 317. This event collected a total of $2,946 through booth fees and raffle tickets donated to Belton Educational Enrichment Foundation at a check presentation on September 21st at the Belton ISD administration office. Mrs. Lauren Gascon, Senior Manager of Amy’s Attic Self Storage, said: “We are thankful for the support of our community and vendors for making this event such a success for Belton students. It is rewarding to work with our neighbors and business partners to create fun events that support people right here in Central Texas. We are looking forward to working with the Salado Volunteer Fire Department again on October 23rd at our Salado location.” Over the years Amy’s Attic Self Storage through its Amy in the Community efforts has sponsored Salado Volunteer Fire Department, Foster Love, Habitat for Humanity, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Families in Crisis, Inc., Children’s Rainbow Room, Operation Phantom Support, Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Texas and local schools through Amy in Education and countless others.
