Temple Municipal Court Offers Alternative Formats TEMPLE, TX (August 13, 2020) – The Temple Municipal Court is currently open and practicing safety measures at its building. However, residents may be able to resolve their cases through email, fax, regular mail or virtually through an online hearing. "If you have a matter with the court, please be aware that the cases are not on hold and should be handled in a timely fashion," Municipal Court Judge Kathleen Person said. "In fact, taking care of your case on time means that you will have more options available." For example, a resident who receives a speeding ticket and appears on time may be able to take a driver's safety class to save money and keep the item off of their record. If they miss a court date, however, the driver's safety option is waived under Texas Law. To inquire about options or to schedule a virtual hearing with the judge, contact the municipal court at courtonlinehelp@templetx.gov. For any additional questions, call 254-298-5687. Online court is available most Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 9 a.m.
