 | Join the “Science of Sailing” course to learn how to operate a sailboat and understand scientific principles safely. This five-day course covers topics such as the parts of a sailboat, wind strength and direction, flotation fundamentals, basic weather and tide influences, and water safety. Upon completion, students will be Certified Basic Sailboat/Able Seaman through the Lake Belton Yacht Club and have access to the club’s boats and future races until they reach the age of 18.
