Oversees the onboarding process for new faculty and staff at the Temple location. Prepares and assists in the dissemination of Human Resource information to faculty and staff. Ensures that managers and employees are aware of critical Human Resource deadlines. Understands and appropriately implements the various policies and procedures for staff. This requires direct engagement with BCM’s Human Resources Department. In partnership with the Human Resources department, advises and guides academic leaders on personnel decisions and actions, including promotions, salary actions, performance management, training, and terminations. Provides support to BCMT faculty and staff in recruiting, interview, selection, and evaluation processes. Ensures appropriate record confidentiality is maintained in compliance with BCM policies, and state and federal regulations. Supports employees and supervisors to resolve employee relations issues. Ensures staff and faculty complete required annual performance evaluations, and instituted training including; compliance, HIPAA, and information systems security requirements. In partnership with the Human Resources department, guides and advises faculty, staff and students regarding disability services, grievances, Title IX, counseling services, etc., as needed. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree. Four years of relevant experience.
