Great experience! Made a reservation on their website 9am for a 1145 Saturday brunch. We were pleasantly surprised at the uniquenesses of this place!
There are a few different dining room options, each with its own vibe and just the coolest details. They also have outdoor covered seating with beautiful views. We explored while waiting for food and let me tell you...if you haven't been here-Explore-you will not be disappointed!
Our server was very good; he and the manager checked on us the right amount of times.

Our food was hot and delicious. We enjoyed the Puccini mimosa carafe and spicy Mary's too. Out of all yum dishes we had, everyone eagerly shared the rest of the (dujour) tomato soup my adult son couldn't finish-and wondered how great the Wisconsin cheese bfast sandwich would have paired. Quiche(perfection), Salmon cake Benedict (delicious, light and airy cake) could've used a biscuit or potatoes to soak up the tasty sauce left on the plate-(hubby used potatoes from my omelette dish-plenty) omelette(very good, needed more cheese-potatoes were delicious) I didn't like the sweet arugula salad-a savory vinaigrette would have been perfect!
All that said, they would've been more than accommodating to add/change anything we wanted. Fantastic destination restaurant to enjoy before, during or after Salado street shopping.

      We stopped in

      Had brunch

      Salads Caeser and house

      Steak and eggs good stuff

Quiche sausage and peppers was good

Service was good-just the salad dressing placement was an issue

Quaint Music was a bit loud and aggressive but we lived

      You should try it out

The ambiance and service were top-notch. Food was very good though my husbands "medium well" steak came medium rare and the lobster in the Lobster Pappardelle, was pretty rubbery and hard to eat. The homemade pappardelle was wonder as was the sauce. The ciabatta bread was good the blood orange salad dressing and the chocolate mousse cake are exceptional.

The dining room in which we were seated was a former operating room.

Wonderful first experience, excellent service, food was incredible, and a beautiful facility. They made a special day for us even more memorable. We were highly recommended here by another guest. Truly grateful to these lovely people here for helping us celebrate a day we'll remember forever.

My husband and I went here last night for dinner and we could not have been more impressed. Our waiter Ryan was phenomenal. Everything we ate tasted amazing and the atmosphere was perfect for a date night. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive, and the food was warm when it got to our table. We're happy to say we found a new spot for our date nights. Can't wait to go back and try some other items off the menu!

Wow! Such personal services by Riley which pretty much top it to 5-Star for me! Of course it's a restaurant so the foods is priority. Dishes are delicious especially Burrata Caprese Salad & Salmon Filet. The Barton House was once a Home so my family & I were seated in an old style dining room with an antique fireplace which made the ambience very pleasant. Hope you will have a wonderful experience like we did. Go Riley!

I was looking for a place to celebrate my mother in laws birthday that was in between Waco and Austin. I stumbled upon The Barton House and I am so glad I did. From the second you walk in, you are greeted with the cutest ambiance. It really feels like you are in someone's home (in fact it was someone's home). Each of the rooms are still in tact.

Then you are met with impeccable service. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and super attentive. He gave great wine recommendations. We started with bread and butter. The bread was phenomenal, but the butter was a bit sweet and not what I was expecting. But that's ok... main course to the rescue! I had a lobster pasta, my husband had the chicken parmesan, and the in laws shared another seafood pasta dish. Each of the plates were absolutely delicious, although I will say I think I won out with my lobster pasta dish.

After we wrapped dinner, we ordered a few desserts. My favorite was the crème brûlée. It was magnificent. After we finished eating, a gentleman took us on a quick tour of the home. This was my favorite part and I was so appreciative of this gesture. The home is spectacular and there are a few hidden passage ways that lead you to an amazing area where you can drink before dinner!

We recently had my husbands surprise birthday party here, and it was AMAZING!! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time! Buelah made everything fall into place before we came and Riley was outstanding in making sure that we had everything we needed! Thanks again!!

Cute place in Salado - went for brunch with our friends and the reason I did not give them 5 stars is because I wish I had seen more "brunchy" items on the menu.
The burger was good, the garlic fries delish, our friend got the pork chops and said it was amazing, and the cocktails also good but a little overpriced for the area in my opinion.

The waiter was very friendly. Maybe slightly too friendly?

Pro tip: they have a Speakeasy bar downstairs! (it was unfortunately flooded when we went, but the space looked really cool)

We went there for Christmas Eve dinner. You can't go wrong. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Food was outstanding. All in a small town setting. Will definitely be back.
