Gogo's Treatery

It's a really mixed review as the cookies and cream Gelato was a 5, but the cupcakes were maybe a 3/3.5 at best. And that is related to the price of them as well. They are not as big as Smallcakes but somehow cost the same and nowhere as good. We tried banana pudding, red velvet(which in Texas is chocolate cake with red food coloring), chocolate cream cheese, the OMG(and I said OMG cuz I couldn't finish it) and oreo which also tasted like a regular chocolate cupcake. So, if you're not here for cupcakes, the other treats here are worth the visit.

Can you say the best cupcakes EVER! The owner is a trained pastry chef, so she didn't just stumble into these delicious recipes. I love the salted caramel and the red velvet with cream cheese icing. There are plenty of inventive flavors to choose from, so you won't get bored. Not that big on sweets, there are mini versions of each cupcake, so you won't slip into a diabetic coma LOL. Please stop by this locally owned business if your ever in Temple. It's right across the street from the hospital in the plaza.

Pretty good! Lots of options for toppings and my hubby loves that.

Prices are steep but I always think that about froyo places.

They kind of had some supplies out and trash out on a back table where you can sit. Kind of bothered me because it wasn't appetizing to eat by. Parking lot kind of tight and busy.

Love their cupcakes! My favorite are the OMG brownie, churro and blueberry streusel! The price has gone up which I don't like but they are still very good cupcakes

HOLY SMOKES, Y'all ! These cupcakes are hands down , the best I've ever had! Today we tried OMG Brownie, Sugar Cookie and Hummingbird. They are delicious ! The icing is yummy (and I've never been a huge fan of icing ) and the flavors are decadent .
You gotta go to Gogo's !

I had cupcakes made for a baby shower, sent them a picture of the theme and they ran with it. They were the most adorable little safari themed cupcakes I could have asked for. Absolutely adorable and tasty too!

A super cute spot for dessert in Temple. I really like picking up their mini cupcake boxes! They are perfect for birthdays. If you are looking for a particular flavor, I would check the website before - some are available every day, and others are only made on certain days of the week.

Gogo's also serves froyo & gelato, which I would like to try next time!

Although l live in East Texas when it comes to my family's Birthday's or Anniversaries who do l call? Gogo cakes is a family owned and operated business. There cakes, cup cakes, cake pops are fantastic My daughter eats gluten free they do accommodate her as well. My granddaughters love the gelato but could eat all the array of toppings by themselves. If are the nothing makes you happy grumpy person. Stop by and treat yourself to friendly people and delicious cakes, you won't be disappointed.

My sister found this place when we were in a bind. My family has a regular cookie lady we buy homemade cookies from, often as party favors. My sister had put in an order for several dozen cookies as party favors for my wedding. A few days before my big day, the cookie lady got sick. I was gutted, I thought, "We won't have a small treat for the guests; no big deal," but was still pretty bummed. Well, my sister looked up a place to get mini cupcakes and Gogo's popped up. She then called me, and said that she could get me a few dozen cupcakes instead of the cookies I wanted. She and another family member tried a couple of flavors and they assured me I wouldn't be disappointed. I was skeptical, and still sad about the cookies, but I picked a couple of flavors. We purchased a few dozen of their mini cupcakes.
Gogo's sells certain flavors on certain days in their shop. If you want a different day's flavor, you need to put in an order ahead of time for a dozen or more. No problem. I went with Churro and Strawberry with only a few days to go before the wedding. The morning of, my sister arrived with a large box of tiny treats! She also kindly bought me and my now husband a six pack, 3 churro and 3 vanilla, so we could taste them before putting any out for guests. Let me tell you, she was not joking. They were delicious! I'm so glad she found this place. Guests loved them, and a couple people tried to snag what was left of my gifted 6-pack! They really came through, and their service was friendly and helpful. I definitely want to try a treat directly from the oven if I'm ever in the area.

My husband and I tried the gelato with two scoops each. The Bourbon apple pie and Belgian chocolate. He had the peanut butter cup and the expresso. All four flavors were incredible. Each flavor had little pieces of chocolate or peanut butter candy or apple pie inside. The size of the cups and scoops went perfectly together. It was just enough. I also brought the 12 count mini cupcakes in all assorted flavors. Haven't tried them all yet but the red velvet and Boston cream pie are to die for! I ate them too quickly to take pictures.
