Glass Doctor of Bell County

I had a small chip in my windshield. This started to cause me some anxiety and stress. If I do not fix it soon then it will crack and start to spread, then I would need to fix the entire windshield - which would cost more.

I don't need anymore anxiety and stress. We're in the middle of a pandemic, the Elections just took place and we don't know who's gonna win (as of yet), and I put on some Covid-weight during this pandemic, and that's just not good.

My co-worker also noticed it and made a comment, this gave me more anxiety, so I called around and asked for a same day appointment. I stopped by another glass place - they were busy and could not get to it until tomorrow. I found Glass Doctor of Bell County on Yelp and Google - - they said they could get me in right now if I came by - awesome.

They were very nice and friendly here. They saw the small chip in my windshield and said "no worries" and started to work on it right away. It was a tag team effort between one of the technicians and the owner - who you can tell has a lot of experience working with glass (since the mid 80's he said) and has a knack for it.

They worked the chip in my windshield until it was perfectly filled in, and I must say I was really impressed with their quality of workmanship and the results. I cannot see any blemishes or chips now - and most importantly it will not turn into a bigger problem. All that for just $50 - - made me very happy and pleased.

We hired this company to repair 4 screens and replace a kitchen window in a house we were moving from on 7/09/21. They assured us even though we were moving, they would still be able to do the repair, we just had to get someone to let them in.

The job was prepaid as we are military and had PCS orders. I should have went with my gut and NEVER prepaid anything.

They told us the glass would take 2 weeks to come in, but they never called to say it arrived; we had to call them. Of course when I called to find out what the hold up was, they said they received the glass.

Since we have moved, the company said they would be out on 7/29 or 7/30 between 1 & 5pm to do repair and would call us so I could have my friends meet them & let them in.... they never called.

We called the following Monday to find out why they didn't do the work. My husband was told they replaced a bedroom window and had been let in by a painter?? He was also told they never fixed the kitchen window. They changed a bedroom window????? That's funny cause we didn't even have a bedroom window broken!! They said they would replace the right window, but had to order the glass again!!!

During the time they were waiting to fix their mistake by reordering the glass, the Rental company had the kitchen window fixed. By now it's been over a month they've been waiting on this kitchen window to be fixed.

I contacted the company to get my money back for the glass since they didn't do the repair to the kitchen window, but the owner refused to give any of it back. He said they repaired a widow and even though it was not the one we paid for.. they repaired one. I explained in great detail

#1 they were paid for a kitchen window not a bedroom
#2 they never called to arrange a time for my people to supervise the repair, they let themselves in for all I know
#3 I have no proof the changed anything at all.
#4 it was supposed to be 2 weeks and a month later they still hadn't fixed the window.
#5 it's not our fault they chose not to call and meet our people to be let in and have the job supervised, so it's not my fault they "supposedly" fixed the wrong window.


Shady as heck.. they made a mistake and pass their cost to the customer!! I guess we'll be going to court!

Excellent service. I had a small chip in my windshield after a small rock went flying into it on our crazy Texas highways. Although they were booked they were able to squeeze me in for a timely revision. Not saying they can do that for everyone for every circumstance but you have to appreciate the customer service. Thanks again.

The folks at The Glass Doctor are the best! Our car was hit on the highway by a large piece of tire tread smashing the drivers side of the windshield about an hour from home. The vehicle was not drivable so we had it towed to The Glass Doctor for repair. We called ahead and they ordered our windshield and set us up for a 2pm appointment. We dropped our vehicle off early and went to lunch to kill time. We were told it would be done by 4pm. Just as we finished our lunch around 1:30pm we received a call stating that our vehicle was finished and ready for pick up. The staff knew that we were away from home and made it a priority to get our car completed so that we could be on our way. They did an excellent job on the windshield and cleaned up all the glass bits inside the car. Their service was above and beyond. Highly recommend!!

I've done business with The Glass Doctor several times for windshield repairs. They are up front with their pricing, get the job done in the time estimated and get me on my way all for a reasonable rate. They are my go-to for auto glass.

I needed a full replacement and called all around town and most companies were booked and would be 2-3 weeks until I could get in. I called Glass Doctor and I was in and out the same day within a couple hours. Super impressed with the fast service.

I ordered replacement windows for my project truck. They were hard to find and we weren't even sure exactly what we were looking for. They were able to find the parts number and get the windows and ordered me 4 of them. They arrived quickly they were priced competitively and I couldn't be happier.
I came to them for this, because of my very 1st interaction with them.
When I got a major rock chip at 3pm on a Friday. I called in and they told me to come in and they would help me before close of business so that it wouldn't stretch over the weekend.
I was warned that the placement of the chip was a very dangerous place and that even trying to fix it, it might still run. The owner offered to do it personally because he said that if anybody could do it correctly it would be him.
Well, it ran... but it was sealed up so it wouldn't be a bigger problem over the weekend and HE told me if I ordered a new windshield, he wouldn't charge me for the fill service.
It sounds terrible, but the newly installed windshield wasn't correctly installed, the gasket got a wrinkle in it and the windshield leaked. They ordered a new windshield and replaced it quickly and efficiently.
While this transaction didn't necessarily go as smoothly as I could have hoped I have nothing but praise for the crew and the people who work here. Glass doctor really did fix my pains

Made big mistakes when my 5 yr old locked us out of the house. I thought that i could just break one little pane of glass on back door and get to the locks. As it turns out, I knew nothing about:

1) tempered glass hardness (took 3 hard hits from a brick to smash it)
2) the size of the actual glass in the door (it wasn't just one little pane)
3) that there were actually two layers of glass (Wow. One broke. I'm committed now to the 2nd.)

So instead of just popping out one small pane, the whole glass of the back door shattered. Wasn't my plan. Anyway these guys came out, inspected, brought new glass (they had it in stock) installed it, cleaned up and were gone in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Price was reasonable too.

A costly lesson, but we are very pleased with how they helped us get back on track

I had a non-opening window with an irregular shape break. The Glass Dr. ordered the replacement and when it came in, it was cut wrong. They reordered and the next time it was cut right, but did not match the opposite side. Doug, the owner, offered to replace the other glass to make it match at no charge. I told him, it was not necessary but he insisted and they replaced the other side glass also. They do good work and take pride in their service.

I had to have the windshield replaced on my 4Runner. These folks were fantastic. Easy to make an appointment, got me in early and the job was done in 30 minutes. Connie was great. Folks were friendly. Highly recommend!
